Our ancestors had been living in our

homeland for thousands of years.

But starting in 1945 our homes were taken
from us

By attacks on us. We did not sell our land.

Most of our land was stolen from us.

And we have been put behind huge

Walls that surround us.

Some call it a “Giant Prison”.

Our Palestinian children

Try to hide to be safe.

And other children try

to fight back,

to get our homes back,

to get our freedom back.

We try to stop the Israelis from

bulldozing our homes

and our beloved olive trees.

We try to stop them from stealing

More of our homeland.

But Israel is much stronger

Than we are.

Our people are beaten for
protesting

That our land is being taken away

And our homes are being destroyed

Palestinians throw stones because we have

Nothing else to show how miserable we are.

Our lives have been destroyed.

And we run away when they shoot at us.

Some of us have made home-made

Qassam bombs.

They shoot at Israel to try to fight back.

But Israel is much

Stronger than we are.

Israel attacks us again and again,

Year after year…

Our buildings are destroyed

From the huge Israeli bombs

Many of us are hurt and wounded.
